Escape back into the world of Thursford at Christmas

Our Christmas Spectacular is an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year round favourites. With a cast of 130 this is the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe!

SPECIALITY ACTS

Take a look at who is gracing the Thursford stage in 2025:

LLOYD HOLLETT – THE COMEDY WORDSMITH

Back for this third consecutive year, Lloyd Hollett – The Comedy Wordsmith is confirmed as the 2025 compere and comedian. With over 32 years experience and a unique style of comedy not to be missed, we can’t wait to see new content from Lloyd!

Duo LéOlé

Leonie completed the Staatliche Artistenschule Berlin in 2018, and Ole graduated in 2017 from Codarts – Artsschool in Rotterdam, both as soloists in the Roue Cyr. They have been performing together in one wheel since 2020 and have mastered the discipline perfectly, having performed at Circus Festival Youngstage in Basel and the Hamburg State Opera.

VLADISLAV KHVOSTIK

Vlad is a Ukrainian-born international circus performer known for his captivating hand-balancing artistry. Blending strength, precision, and grace, he transforms movement into visual poetry. A second-generation artist, Vlad has performed worldwide – on cruise ships, renowned theatres, and in acclaimed variety shows – embodying the timeless elegance of the modern circus.

CENTRIPETAL FORCES

Abby, Ella, Ruben, and Seth comprise this international jump rope troupe. Each began jumping at a young age, and went on to compete for Team Canada and Team USA at national and world championships! With contagious energy and a deep love for their sport, they aim to inspire audiences everywhere – one jump at a time.

Thursford’s Christmas Spectacular has attracted over 5.8 million visitors to date and is the largest Christmas show in the country.

It is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End. The three hour Christmas performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour (adult) and speciality acts. It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites, with famous and much-loved chart toppers being performed alongside traditional carols.

Word of this amazing show has spread and it is now generally recognised as being the largest show of its kind in the country, if not Europe. Up to fifty coaches per day travel from all over the country and many of our patrons have visited year on year, turning the trip into a mini holiday staying in the county’s hotels, guest houses and holiday cottages.

Please note owing to the length of the performance (3 hours) and adult content of the humour we have 8 + Advisory age, naturally this recommendation is based on a child’s ability to enjoy a performance without disrupting the experience of other visitors.

If you are searching for a festive day out with the family, look no further than our special Christmas event in Norfolk.

The Christmas Spectacular takes place inside and the auditorium does become quite warm during the performance. Dress as you see fit, but you may like to bring a coat for the walk to and from the car park and if attending the Enchanted Journey of Light, which takes place both in and outside.

Seats Our best seats are the Band A (Row M) followed by the Band B etc, these do sell out quickly so make sure to book early.

 Chair sizes:

Standard seat width is 39cm (row M, centre raised, left & right raised and the flat)

Band B (in the centre) seat width is 43cm, these seats also have a 6cm wide arm rest.
