How long does the experience take?
We say a good one to two hours to experience everything thoroughly.
What is Santa’s magical Journey?
It’s about a 45 minute to an 1hour 15minute walk around our animated wonderland, about three quarters of the way around you come to Santa’s grotto where the children see Santa and receive a present from Santa. There is then the family photo with Santa which can later be purchased, after you finish your journey there is a 4D cinema along with additional children entertainment.
I’ve booked my time slot what actually happens at that time.
The time you have booked is the time you must start your journey.
Can we get in to the fantasyland building before the time I have booked?
Yes you can get in up to 30minutes before the time you have booked.
I have a baby under 1 do I have to pay for that baby?
If you have another paying child in your party and you do not want your under 1 to receive a present they are of course welcome to go through as a babe in arms (pushchairs are fine). However if you have no other children attending or you wish the under one to receive a present you will need to pay for a ticket for them.
Do I have to have a child with me to go around Santa’s magical journey?
Yes there must be at least one paying child to enter. Please note if you turn up to the event without a child you will be refused entry.
What happens if my child is sick on the day?
Unfortunately we will not be able to refund or transfer your tickets to a different day. Please do call the office on 01328878477 for more information.
Can I enter the fantasyland building but not do the experience without a ticket?
Unfortunately you will need a ticket to enter the fantasyland building.
Is the journey wheelchair/pushchair accessible?
Yes it is fully accessible.
Can we take photo’s?
Yes you can take photo’s and/or video’s anywhere along the journey except for Santa’s house.
Can we bring our own food?
Unfortunately you can not consume your own food in the fantasyland building, however we have our own tea room in the fantasyland building.
What else is on site?
We have a garden pavilion restaurant, barn café, carousel tea bar, licensed bar and 6 gift shops on site. All of which you can access with or without a ticket.
Can we book a table in your restaurant?
We do not take any bookings for our restaurant or café. Both are on a first come first serve basis.
How likely are we to be able to get something to eat on site?
Very likely. Although our facilities are not bookable we are use to a high turnover. As 95% of our guests are working to a timed ticket we find that they tend to move along pretty quickly to be able to get to the shops too before the performance starts.
I’m gluten free. Do you have anything suitable?
We have a range of gluten free treats and meals available.
