We thought the 2012 Christmas Spectacular was outstanding; the performance of all artists in the cast, the musical content, the choreography, and quality of costumes, particularly the masquerade sequence was comparable with any such production the West End.
Another marvellous start to Christmas
Another marvellous start to Christmas. Your beautiful dancers, so skilful, gracious and full of the energy of youth cannot fail to bring the joy that is part of Christmas: the supporting acts, the wonderfully moving choir; every member seems to have a voice of solo quality, especially when they sing among the audience. All this creates a memorable start to the Christmas season.
The most wonderful show I have ever seen or am likely to see.
I sat with my mouth open most of the time, in awe of the professionalism, the settings, the costumes, the lights…. oooh, the lights! It was just magical and totally breath-taking! In fact, as I have told my friends, the most wonderful show I have ever seen or am likely to see.
All the dancers were superb, but special mention goes to the Toy Wooden Soldier routine because the soldiers were shot by the canon and fell back down in slow motion, one at a time. Being so close to the performers, we could see just how very skilfully they did this – it was by no means an easy task to do!
You've Done It Again
You’ve done it again! Produced a fresh, lively and different show that delights all who see it. To do that after all these years on what is necessarily the same theme each year is nothing short of genius.
I felt the show was going to be a thrilling night from outset, when the girls appeared in those amazing white costumes and white ostrich feathers. There was no delay what so ever in getting right down to the “Spectacular”
Cello Player Jamie Pringle was sitting only a few feet away from us all the time. The enthusiasm he put into his playing and performance (jumping up and down etc) was 200% and he obviously also genuinely enjoyed every minute performing for us.
There were many highlights but the singing of “In the Bleak Mid Winter” will long be remembered. It was superb and the huge audience were spell bound, you could have heard a pin drop. Sheer Magic.
I could not get over the dancers this year, especially in the Tin Soldiers and Irish River Dance. How 20 girls can be all as one with such complicated moves is beyond me, but they managed it on both occasions. Marvellous.
Customer from DerehamChristmas starts here, I do not know how you can keep coming up with such great ideas, one minute we are laughing and the next the beautiful voices of the choir reminded us of the religious side of Christmas. Please thank everyone for a very magical afternoon.
Customer from EssexHaving just seen your wonderful Christmas Show, I felt I had to write and say it was first class, all who took part were perfect, the music was so enjoyable, I shed lots of tears of happiness at such a beautiful evening. Please thank all your staff.
Mansfield, NottsMy wife and I, with fiends, visited your Christmas Spectacular a few days ago and I would just like to say it was one of the momentous experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived and seeing the thousands of lights on the trees I was impressed, but it just got better as the evening progressed.
I was absolutely enchanted by the stage performances; the chorus girls high kicking and faultless synchronisation, the readings setting the scene, the humorous pieces, the brilliant orchestra, the wonderful singers, the amazing ventriloquist and comics, I could go on. Thank you once again for a very memorable and immensely enjoyable experience,
